Complex Trauma can present in a variety of psychopathological states, creating a diagnostic and treatment dilemma for the clinician and as a result use of trials of several neuroleptics, including combinations of antidepressants and antipsychotics with no relief. An attachment perspective helps not only in assessment of a young person’s trauma, but also serves as the basis for successful psychotherapy. This workshop aims to allow participants to be exposed to the multitude of symptoms and pathological states that occur as a result of trauma of various kinds, including attachment trauma. The workshop will be enhanced by the use of Illustrative cases and examples will be solicited from participants with wide ranging discussion.
